I am a Ph.D in Hebrew literature and Jewish folklore, currently teaching at the Haifa University. My dissertation was dedicated to the formative role of the national anthologies (as Bialik and Ravnitzky's Sefer Ha'agadah) in the configuration of modern Jewish canons. My current research which was conducted at Indiana University deals with the emergence of Jewish humor at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
