I'm a generative linguist, an occupation which imparts an intertangled and inseparable interest in the humanities and in scientific inquiry. I studied linguistics and computer science, wrote a dissertation in formal semantics, but also worked in computational linguistics in industry and in academia. I speak Hebrew and a number of other natural languages, but also Perl and HTML, and can program experimental tasks in Linger and in Mechanical Turk. Most recently I've been involved in a large scale annotation project of modal meaning in English.
